Stanley J. Guest  P.T., O.C.S., O.M.P.T.

Stan Guest is Board Certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He is also certified as an OMPT through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He has continued to be a member of the APTA and MPTA since 1984.


Stan is a graduate of Wayne State University with a B.S. in Physical Therapy with distinction. He has been an adjunct professor of Kinesiology and Orthopedics at Wayne State University and has lectured at Oakland University. He has also presented lectures to group of physicians, physical therapists, and to the general public. He is the owner of Clegg & Guest Physical Therapy.


Stan has a sports background in cross-country, track, whitewater kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. He is also the assistant coach and team PT of the Notre Dame Prep cross country teams. Stan has a sub-specialty in the treatment of overuse injuries of the foot and leg, and makes custom foot orthotics. He also specializes in connective tissue disorders.

Melissa Scheck, M.P.T.



Melissa Scheck is a graduate of Oakland University with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.  She has worked in outpatient orthopedics in various environments, including a spine care center and sports rehabilitation facility.  In addition to traditional outpatient orthopedics, she has further education to treat dance specific injuries as well as women’s health, including pre-natal & post-natal treatment, and basic Pilate’s instruction.  Melissa is a former member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science and has been a Clinical instructor for the University of Flint Michigan.


Melissa has an extensive background in classical ballet.  Her dance experience as well as her background in teaching, is an excellent adjunct to her skills as a physical therapist.
